Chuck has been an essential part of M. Böhlke Veneer Corp. since 1973. He began his career in the production of veneer. Today, as Domestic Sales Manager, Chuck oversees all flitch stock grading and selling, including all North American veneer sales. He enjoys time with his family, woodworking and fishing.
Mark Brown
Export Sales Manager Veneer
Joining MBVC in 1977, Mark has learned the trade from the ground up. As Export Manager, Mark is responsible for the grading and preparation of our indigenous clipped and bundled veneer. Mark enjoys time with his family, coaching basketball and travel.
Mike Maccio
Lead Sales Associate Far East & Domestic Veneers
Mike joined MBVC in 1991 and supports all North American and Far East customers. Mike graduated from Concord College with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in marketing and economics. Mike combines his personal sales talent with his acquired industry knowledge to support our customers 100%. Mike enjoys time with his family, mountain biking and travel.
Kelly Niehoff
Sales Associate Marine and Architectural Veneer
Kelly joined MBVC in 2006 as a veneer sales associate with focus on the Worldwide Marine Industry. She began her professional career with Hinckley Yachts. From there she headed up advertising for SAIL Magazine, which led her to the online world of marketing and advertising. Kelly offers extensive knowledge of the marine industry and she can assist you in the selection of fine exotic veneer for your next project. When Kelly is not sailing, she can be found running, cycling, or eating Cincinnati?s favorite Grater's ice cream.
Huina Han
Sales Associate Far East Veneer
Coming from Beijing, China, with a Bachelor's Degree in Business from Bowling Green State University and an MBA Degree from West Virginia Wesleyan College, Huina joined M. Böhlke Veneer in 2003. Huina supports our customers in China and continues to explore the new opportunities in the Chinese market. Her goal is to establish long-term business relationships using her knowledge of the wood industry and linguistic skills. Huina enjoys time with her husband, sports of all sorts and travel. Ron Gooch

Ron joined MBVC in 1987 and worked over 13 years representing us in the home furnishing industry. Ron has over 32 years experience in the veneer industry. Ron supports our customers from our High Point, NC office and warehouse. Ron enjoys time with his family and fishing.
Rob Romines
Sales Associate Veneer
Rob joined the MBVC in 1999. Rob originally learned the business selling flitch stock veneer and since joining us has acquired extensive knowledge of exotic, burl and crotch veneer. No matter if you are an architect, designer or woodworker, Rob can assist you in selecting the finest veneer for your project. Rob Romines graduated from Hanover College and enjoys time with his family and comedy.
Manfred Böhlke
President
Mr. Böhlke to this day oversees the entire operation of M. Böhlke Veneer Corp. and is involved in every aspect of our sales process - domestic or international, veneer or logs. Nevertheless, his main focus still lies in the overseas business, be it Europe, South America, the Far East, Australia or South Africa. With his extensive knowledge of the wood business and his fair and keen business sense, Mr. Böhlke has been able to form many long lasting business relationships and friendships.
Thomas Meyer
International Sales Associate
Thomas joined MBVC in 2010. Having a strong family background in the veneer industry, he brings with him a true passion for our trade. At a very early age, Thomas began his hands on training working for his father in a veneer mill learning every facet of the veneer process. Since then Thomas has primarily focused on sales where he has gained experience dealing with customers from all over the world. Thomas lived in Germany, Canada and the U.S. and speaks fluent German. In his free time, Thomas enjoys spending time with his wife and three sons and their hockey activities.
Carl Compton
Sales Associate
Carl joined our team at MBVC in 1986 and immediately started working in our Import Veneer Department. With now over 20 years of experience Carl is a key asset to our company, grading, taking care of and promoting our large exotic veneer inventory. Carl enjoys time with his family, fishing and golfing
Bruce Brinker
Sales Associate
Hired on in 1984 Bruce has been working in the Export Department. Alongside Mark Brown, Bruce is responsible for the grading of our export veneers like Cherry, Walnut, Maple and preparing them according to our many customers? specification. Bruce enjoys time with his family, gardening and golfing
Mark Soupene
IT Director
Mark Soupene joined our team in 2001 to take over the responsibilities for Information Technology functions. Since joining our company Mark has implemented a custom SAP ERP system which has allowed us to streamline all of our business processes. Mr. Soupene graduated from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. Mark enjoys time with his family, golfing and fly fishing.
Larry Musil
Sales Associate and Architectural Veneer
Larry joined MBVC in 2008 and will focus on market sales of veneer, face veneer, & exotic lumber and will also assist on architectural specification within the design community. Larry is a graduate from the University of Florida, College of Architecture and has enjoyed a career generating results that not only benefit the companies he has worked for, but his customers as well. Larry has said, I am passionate about the work I do because of the relationships I establish with my customers, as they are my friends. When Larry is not working, he enjoys spending time with his wife and baby girl.
Patrick Pemberton
Sales Associate Lumber
Patrick joined MBVC in 2007 is responsible for the sales of exotic lumber and faces. He enjoys spending his free time with his family, fishing and riding his ATV.
Nathan Ritter
Sales Associate Veneer
Nathan has been in the veneer industry since 1981 selling to the furniture, face veneer, and architectural industries. He enjoys dealing with the different species and the rich look that they provide. Nathan will be covering customers and prospects in GA, NC, SC, TN, VA, WV and District of Columbia. Nathan looks forward to working with both new and existing customers. Nathan is a graduate of North Carolina State. Nathan and his wife have two children and one dog, a Chinese Crested Powder-Puff named Checkers. Nathan is also involved with the youth groups at church.
